· Our first trees were planted in 1995
· Arabica K7 which is a vigorous grower and very reliable fruiter
· Organically grown without the use of any fungicides or pesticides and only organic fertilizers are used.
· All coffee is carefully hand picked when ripe between July and November, pulped and sun dried for approximately 3 weeks to 10 - 15 % moisture content
· Dry parchment is stored in a cool dry room for a minimum of 1 year to enable the coffee to cure
· All by-products including prunings, hull and pulp are mulched and returned to our soil
· Roasting is done in small quantities every day in 2kg rosters with a rapid cooling system enhancing the rich flavour of our coffee which is sweet, smooth and low in caffeine and lacks the acidity of most imported coffee.
